COVID-19 UPDATES
Greetings from all of us at Lady Luck Tattoo Phoenix!
First, we hope that all of you have been able to stay safe and healthy during these past few months.
We anticipate being able to open the shop on May 16, 2020, although it is always possible that conditions may change at any time during this pandemic. We do our best to stay informed and follow recommended health guidelines. We all need to work together so that we can go forward in a way that will continue to protect us all from furthering the spread of this virus and ensuring safety as much as is possible in the months to come.
As practitioners of body art we already operate in a state of constant awareness of protocol for blood-borne pathogens, but we have to be even more conscientious now. It is not too far a stretch to include safe practices for prevention of airborne transmission into our routine. We are concerned with keeping everything as safe as we can.
We have reviewed our front of house cleaning methods, and while confident of past daily practices, we have increased the frequency and adjusted protocol to do everything within our ability and knowledge to provide a clean and safe environment.
We will ask clients to fill out a form with current contact information EVERY time the shop is visited, even for a consultation.
One of the biggest concerns with the coronavirus is the incubation period, where an individual is not showing signs. We need to have adequate records to ensure public health officials have the means to track exposures.
We will operate by appointment only.
Our appointment schedule will be staggered to ensure proper distancing as much as possible. Due to this, each artist will have a limited ability to schedule, so we ask for your patience and understanding .
There will be no more than 6 people in the shop at any time, with the preferred ratio being 4 people: 2 artists, properly distanced from each other with one client each. We understand the desire to share this experience with friends and family, but ask that you come alone at this time to help us with safe practices.
ALL PEOPLE, UPON ENTERING, WILL BE INSTRUCTED IN SHOP PROTOCOL:
Hand sanitation is the first priority.
We ask that you either put your phone, keys, and glasses away in a provided bin; or we can disinfect them by spraying them down with alcohol.
Anything you plan on touching after entering will need to be disinfected first. THIS WILL HAPPEN EVERY TIME YOU ENTER, even if you just run out to your car.
Everyone will be required to wear a mask.
We have a limited number of masks available to clients. If you bring your own, we can treat it with UV light to disinfect. Our artists will wear N95 masks that are treated in a UV sterilization cabinet after every tattoo.
Each artist will be extra conscientious of client common areas and the restroom. We will disinfect throughout the day as well as after each client. Our tattoo areas are always cleaned with germicide and disinfected after every client.
If you feel sick, or have been around anyone that has,
or have reservations about being in public, we encourage you to postpone your appointment until a time that we can work together safely and comfortably.
If you have questions or concerns please feel free to contact your artist.
We look forward to seeing you!
